Yoseph leads LAVA, a venture fund investing in Web3 startups building Africa's financial and trust infrastructures - a continent with the world's fastest growing economies, populations, and utility-driven crypto adoption. He also runs magma, a founder program coordinating exceptional entrepreneurs who are building Africa's onchain economy.
Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship and the Global Impact Visa, an innovative immigration program with the New Zealand government that attracted 500+ elite entrepreneurs and investors globally. Prior to that, he helped scale Inflection, a Silicon Valley software startup.
Originally from Ethiopia, Yoseph has lived and worked across five continents and holds an AB from Harvard University.
