Evgeny Gaevoy

Evgeny is the founder and CEO of Wintermute, a global algorithmic trading firm, liquidity provider, and leading OTC desk in digital assets. Since its founding, Wintermute has grown exponentially, providing liquidity across over 60 centralized and decentralized exchanges, offering institutional trading solutions such as over-the-counter trading, and actively investing in early-stage Web3 projects through its Ventures arm.

Before founding Wintermute in 2017, Evgeny spent a decade at Optiver, one of the world's leading algorithmic trading firms in traditional finance, where he built and led the ETF trading desk. With his extensive background, he is ideally positioned to integrate the best of both the traditional finance and cryptocurrency worlds.
