Evgeny Gaevoy

Evgeny Gaevoy is the founder and CEO of Wintermute, a global algorithmic trading firm, leading OTC desk, and liquidity provider in digital assets. Since launching in 2017, Wintermute has grown rapidly, providing liquidity across 60+ centralized and decentralized exchanges, offering advanced trading solutions, and backing early-stage web3 teams through its Ventures arm.

Before Wintermute, Evgeny spent nearly a decade at Optiver, one of the worldʼs leading trading firms in
traditional finance, where he built and ran the ETF desk. His background in both traditional and crypto
markets gives him a unique vantage point on the evolution of global finance.
