Emilie Gallagher

Emilie Gallagher is the Global Head of Financial Markets and Industry Product at Bloomberg LP, where she leads product strategy across a broad portfolio of financial markets and industry solutions. Her responsibilities span Companies, Equities, Funds, Indices, Economics, Commodities, Alternative Data and Industry. She oversees the development of data, analytics and applications supporting Bloomberg’s Terminal and enterprise businesses.

Emilie also leads Bloomberg’s firm-wide Digital Assets strategy, focused on the convergence of traditional finance, emerging asset classes and next-generation market infrastructure. Her work spans tokenization, evolving market structures and the integration of digital assets into institutional financial workflows, helping shape Bloomberg’s role in the next generation of financial markets.

In addition, Emilie plays a leading role in Bloomberg’s private markets strategy, with a focus on connecting data, analytics and investment workflows across private companies, funds and indices. She leads product strategy for pre-investment workflows, helping investors discover, evaluate and act on opportunities across private markets.

With 20 years at Bloomberg, Emilie brings extensive experience across product strategy, financial data, technology and commercial leadership. She leads Bloomberg’s Women in Product community and serves on the Bloomberg Benchmark Oversight Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts Management from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
