Romeo Lacher has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Julius Baer since April 2019. In addition, he is Vice Chairman of the Bank Council of the Swiss National Bank. From 2016 to 2020, Romeo Lacher was Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIX Group AG and Vice Chairman from 2008 to 2016. Romeo Lacher spent 26 years at Credit Suisse, where he held various management positions. His last role was Chief Operating Officer of International Wealth Management and he was a member of the IWM Management Committee.
Romeo Lacher holds a degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen and a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen. He also completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
