Dr. Roland W. Tegeder is the Chairman and a Founding Partner of the RAIN Foundation LBG. He is also a Founding Partner of the SW7 Group, a technology investment / incubation firm and a driving force behind RAIN. Roland has had a career spanning more than 20 years at the intersection of finance and technology and, prior to founding the SW7 Group, was a Goldman Sachs partner. At Goldman, Roland was a member of the Asian Securities Division Operating Committee and had responsibility across Asia for quant staff and for structuring, marketing, valuation and risk management of financial products and solutions across all asset classes. He retired from Goldman in 2011 to pursue a set of commercial, angel and scientific activities; and in 2014 co-founded the SW7 Group. Roland holds an MA and PhD in mathematics from St John’s College, University of Cambridge and lives in London.
