Jez has over 20 years of financial services experience in macro trading. Now CEO of Laser Digital, he was previously Chief Digital Officer and Co-Head of Global Markets EMEA at Nomura, and prior to this was leading the development of systematic trading capabilities with a focus on AI/ML at Brevan Howard.

Jez has been involved in the crypto ecosystem since 2013 in a number of ventures personally and at institutions including Nomura and Brevan Howard. He was one of the founding members of Digital Asset custodian Komainu, and of Nomura's Digital Asset vertical.

He has a PhD in Process Systems Engineering and a masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and over 10 publications in reputed international mathematical journals.
