Eswar Prasad is a professor at Cornell University, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is a former head of the IMF’s China Division. His latest book, “The Future of Money: How the Digital Revolution is Transforming Currencies and Finance,” was listed among the best economics books of 2021 by the Financial Times and The Economist.
